Hello everyone, Due to a lack of response, I will NOT be reopening the Inklings account. For those who are interested in doing various creative writing exercises, I will be posting them on my PERSONAL account instead. I'm even willing to give you feedback on your writing, if you ask me to. Please feel free to add kelticangel (https://www.deviantart.com/kelticangel) to your watch/friends list. I will post creative writing assignments as my journal entries. I wish you all the best in your future writing adventures! :D ~KelticAngel

Hello Inklings! I'm hoping this will turn into a "welcome back" type of announcement. I would dearly like to bring this society of writers back to where it had been - and beyond. In order to do that, I will need at least two people willing to help me "run the show" as it were. If you were previously part of the admin team, you're more than welcome to continue in that role: just drop me a note on my private page (~kelticangel) and let me know you're interested. The Inklings are a small society of writers who: - honestly but caringly critique each other's work in an effort to better one another - enjoy "showing off" our writing to other wri

Hi Inklings! Um, Yeah. I've been clobbered by a personal wall of difficulty, and it took me offline since Christmas. It's school related - so I can't promise that I'll be running up to speed again anytime soon... I noticed that in my lengthy absence, my mailbox didn't get clogged with submissions, which could be good or bad - depending on how you look at it. ____________________ Announcement ____________________ Your lack of homework assignments has extended to Easter... :D But expect one for April. Nothing hard, most of us are students, and April's a busy month. ____________________ Snazzy Website of the Month!!! ...What would you

Why so long there are no news?

hmmm. I assume this club is inoperative at present. If it starts up again, let me know...
Hi guys
remember 'assignment 1'? The thing ~ kelticangel put up, showing the plan of a room and asking us to write a short piece with a description of the room as a crime scene?
Well, you might be interested to know that my submission for that (Rosewood and Dust [link]) is a featured selection in Suture 6. :D
So thanks for coming up with the assignment - my writing has definitely improved by getting involved with various clubs on dA.
Best wishes.
:)
If you're looking for in-depth, line-by-line criticism on PROSE or POETRY, please note me with a link to the piece and your e-mail address (comments will be given in Word Documents to keep things simple and easy to understand). Or, you can simply email me at very.red@gmail.com with the .doc file attached. I WILL NOT critique on DA, it is simply too tedious to deal with the HTML formatting.

Please do NOT send any of the following:
:bulletred: Fan fiction of ANY kind. NONE!
:bulletred: Erotica (It can be erotic, but I don't want detailed descriptions of genitalia, please)
:bulletred: 'Dark' Poetry
:bulletred: Angsty Poetry
:bulletred: Prose works longer than 15 pages 12pt, Times new roman, single spaced. (one or two pages over is fine, nothing more)
:bulletred: Science Fiction (I don't have a science background, it just gets on my nerves)

I enjoy speculative fiction, all non-fiction, personal essays, structural poems, and anything experimental. Please tell me which version of MS Word you have so I will know how to best include my comments. If you don't have Word, please tell me.

Thanks.

Thank you very much for the:+devwatch:, I really appreciate it as well as your insightful comments.
hi inklings members..

i just read *RebeccaA's Falling (Version 2), and i must say..

It is a very good read.. You know how people always say when you're dying, life's panels flashes across you??

That was how i felt when i read Falling (Version 2).. As i type this now, I am thinking to myself, what would come first to mind when i am on the bed and dying..

Something worth pondering about eh...

Anyways, do read Falling (Version 2).. There's gonna be a re-write I hope, so critique her and we'll see a better version of Falling the next time round...

Cheers!
